This is a glorious opportunity, dear reader. At the blog of the neo-theocrats at the Discovery Institute‘s creationist public relations and lobbying operation, the Center for Science and Culture (a/k/a the Discoveroids, a/k/a the cdesign proponentsists), we find this thrilling notice:
Listen Live Tonight as John West Talks about “God and Evolution”. We are informed, with bold added by us:
A special edition of the weekly “Darwin or Design” program, featuring Trinity College Research Professor Tom Woodward’s interview with Discovery Senior Fellow John West, is airing tonight, Thursday, November 18th. The hour-long program begins at 7 pm Eastern (6 pm Central, 4 pm Pacific) on the Salem Network station in Tampa, WTBN, at AM 570. The discussion centers on the scientific and philosophical issues in the origins contoversy [sic] among naturalistic Darwinists, theistic evolutionists, and design theorists.
Wowie! You won’t want to miss this. Most of you know who John West is (we affectionately call him “Westie”). It’s in his honor that we have adorned this post with our jolly Buffoon logo, because he’s a winner of the Curmudgeon’s Buffoon Award.
Westie is Associate Director of the Discoveroids’ creationist “think tank,” which consumes almost half of the Discovery Institute’s’ $4 million budget (see Their 2007 Tax Return). That makes him one of the chief Keepers of their wedge strategy.
The Discoveroid blog article gives a link where the broadcast can be heard live. This is it: Darwin or Design. We don’t know if it works, but that’s the link they gave us. If it doesn’t function properly, visit the Discoveroid blog and see if you can figure it out.
You know our rules: Feel free to express yourselves; however, everybody has to play nice. That means no flames, no feuds, no profanity or vulgarity, no childish anatomical analogies, etc. Also, avoid slanderous statements about individuals. Criticize the argument, not the person. Okay, have at it.
