WorldNetDaily: George Soros & Charles Darwin

Buffoon Award

The jolly logo adorning this post is in honor of WorldNetDaily (WND), the journalistic organ that won our Buffoon Award and that constantly confirms the soundness of that decision.

WND is an absolutely execrable, moronic, and incurably crazed publication. Over and over again it proves itself to be an instrument of idiocy, a wretched rag, a deep pool of theocratic throw-up, a sinkhole of stupid, a fountain of feculence, and … yes, they’re also creationists.

This post is about an article in today’s WND titled Beck’s take on Soros: Dead on. It’s an amusing read because it combines so many exotic elements and conspiracies, but what specifically drew us to it was the author — Ellis Washington.

Our last post about one of Ellis’ articles was WorldNetDaily: Unrestrained Madness. You can visit that link for a full description of the man and his work. Rather than repeat all that, we’ll give you just a hint of his genius. Ellis has previously informed us of “the syllogism that was a foundation of Western civilization”:

If A = B, then A + B = C.

We’re not only giving you that minimal introduction, but we’re also being skimpy regarding Ellis’ newest article. You’ll have to click over to WND to read the thing; it’s little more than a re-hash of what Glenn Beck has been broadcasting recently about George Soros.

We don’t much care for Soros, but we’re not concerned with most of what Ellis has to say. What we do care about — because it’s so flamingly crazy — is what Ellis says in his last paragraph. Here it is, with bold font added by us:

Because George Soros is an atheist, he has no allusions about a heaven beyond the grave. Therefore, like most socialists, progressives, Darwinists and atheists, he is trying to establish a utopian society here on earth – a one-world centralized government without borders, religion or culture, one currency, one language and one puppet master to pull the strings of the useful idiots in power … while controlling the world from beyond the shadows.

There you are, dear reader, now you’ve been told: No Darwin, no Soros. The only thing we can’t figure out is why David Klinghoffer didn’t write about this first.

  1. First Hitler, now Soros.

We may not believe that Darwin was an powerful god, but it appears that creationists in fact do.

A scientist comes up with a theory, and human history is radically altered.

  2. Glen Davidson says: “First Hitler, now Soros.”

    It’s a shameful legacy.

  3. LOL @ “allusions”. Do they actually have editors at WND? I’d hope the answer is no, but I won’t be surprised to learn otherwise.

  4. I just cant get over the Axis of Crazy this article represents:

So…Soros, an arch free market capitalist and profiteer, is in fact a stealth socialist commie NWO leader……

    Oh …. Riiiiiight!

Lets not forget as well that Beck’s latest lunacy is that the European Parliament building is directly modelled on the Tower of Bable…..

    Oh…..riiiiiight!

May I nominate Beck for the next round of Buffoon Awards?

“The conspiracy theory of society… comes from abandoning God and then asking ‘Who is in his place?'” — Karl Popper.

The whole thing is well worth reading.

Certainly George Soros funds people who agree with him, as anyone else does, but there is no reason to make him into the sort of demonic figure that Rupert Murdoch or Roger Ailes (or now, the Koch brothers) are for the Left.
