WND: Evolution’s Fraud Is Exposed!

We were jolted to wakefulness by the blaring sirens and flashing lights of our Retard-o-tron™. The blinking letters on the wall said WorldNetDaily. As you know, WorldNetDaily (WND) is the flamingly creationist, absolutely execrable, moronic, and incurably crazed journalistic organ that believes in and enthusiastically promotes every conspiracy theory that ever existed.

Eagerly we visited the WND website and were directed to a new video by none other than the brilliant and articulate leader of David Rives Ministries. The last time we brought you a David Rives video was Evolution — The Most Foolish Notion Ever!

Today’s video may be Rives’ best ever. It’s only two and a half minutes long, but in that brief period Rives manages to totally demolish the theory of evolution. How does he do it? Simple — he hits us at our weakest point — Piltdown Man! We’ve written about that fossil before (see Piltdown Man: The Creationists’ Savior), but nothing can match Rives’ presentation.

Okay, we know you can’t wait, so we won’t detain you any longer. Click over to WND and Discover the hoax at heart of evolution. It’ll amaze you!

  1. Where’s the Jolly Buffoon?

  2. Rives is so uber-moronic I think he deserves his very own avatar!

  3. Gary asks: “Where’s the Jolly Buffoon?:

In my haste to post the thing, I forgot. It’ll be there for the next one.

  4. Rives is an astronomer? Oh, dear lord. I may google around and check into that later when I have more time.
And some of the comments on that video-page were pretty good. One guy (“Allen Strong”) said some of the comments reminded him of The Onion. Another (“Psy Gremlin”) said, yes, it was a fraud, it was discovered and discarded as evidence, and there’s tons of real evidence for evolution besides this one you guys can’t seem to get over- to which MK returned the following deeply-thought-out response: “yeah, right.”

  5. Face it, it’s not like any religion has ever perpetuated a fraud…oh, never mind.

  6. My mistake, Even though WND calls him “Astronomer David Rives,” implying that he’s an actual, you know, astronomer, he is apparently only a “biblical astronomer.” (snicker) That would make him, as far as I can tell, an enthusiast with an agenda that distorts his subject into special shapes. For example, he has an article called “Our Amazing Moon,” which gets most of the wiki-accessible facts right, but then “debunks” the “evolutionary” theory that our moon is a result of a chance collision of a passing large body with Earth by invoking the Roche Limit- which, to my (limited) understanding, applies only to bodies already in orbit around the focus of the limit. He seems to think that (real) astronomers believe that the Moon was caused by the impact on the Earth of the Moon (maybe this is one of those “in order to understand recursion, you must first understand recursion” things). He ends Pt 2 of his article with the implied conclusion that “[t]oday, evolutionary theory has become the scientific norm,” because of the passing of Dr. Wernher Von Braun- “one of it’s [NASA’s] strongest Christian influences.”
I love the smell of a non-sequitur in the morning.

OK, watching this video lowered my IQ. I cannot afford to watch too many more of these types of videos. At this rate I may not be able to tie my shoes by the end of the year.

Somewhat off topic, but I thought the readers of this blog would enjoy this link:
